In the late 90s when the Internet just emerged, Google wasn't formed yet, and Yahoo! was the king, I was charged with developing a platform to put 43 radio stations owned by Paxson Radio on the Internet.  Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner just started their AudioNet which was changed to Broadcast.com before their IPO in 2000.

Mark and I cooperated on launching Pax Radios on AudioNet's platform in 1996.  Multiple genres of radio feeds and livecasts of Florida college football and basketball games created huge interest in national and "international" audience. This broadcast media became the models for monetization of today's audio and visual livestreams and clips.
